French Style Bathroom Decor and Designs

Just like in our French kitchen post, the design elements that will make up French bathroom decor are porcelain fixtures (bathtub, vanity, sink, and handles like in picture (1)), white walls, natural colors (browns, brass/copper) and splashes of pastel shades. The French style is quite decorative yet minimalist at the same time. In picture (2) a decorative arch frames the shower but that’s it – there are no tiles, the space is quite bare and raw.

One of the distinct features in a French style bathroom is the free standing porcelain bathtub with the claw feet (3). Another feature piece is a chandelier (4). 1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9

These kitchens are quite bright places – you won’t see black or dark brown cabinets or colored ones. White walls are the way to go with splashes of pasel shades around the space. When it comes to the sink, it is white rounded porcelain, along with traditional styled faucets with porcelain handles
