This is the kind of loft space that you’d see on a TV show. It has bags and bags of charm and character.

All of the raw industrial materials are exposed, such as the brick walls, hardwood floors, beams, and iron fixtures.Yet mixed into all of this rustic industrial rawness is an artistic side – which you can see through the artwork .

The stage lighting fits well with the pianos in the living room. And have a look at that tire wheel sink stand in the bathroom. This bachelor pad of a loft was designed by Lev Lugovsky of Russia.

What is so distinctive of Scandinavian interior design, is the lack of color. This corner apartment in the West of Sweden is made up of a black and white color palette. It creates a timeless look and makes all of the golden and brass pieces (like the door to the fireplace) really stand out. The warmth is brought into the rooms through the natural lighting, wooden features, and plants.

Much like in every Scandinavian home design, the color palette is made up of natural hues. You have the white base, with blacks, greys, and wooden tones mixed in with some plants to give the space some color and warmth. It is hard to find one colored piece in any of the rooms designed by Stadshem.

Keep an eye out for:

• The decorative crown molding
• All of those large white pendant lights that decorate the rooms
• The gallery wall shelf hanging over the bed
• And the dark wooden floors that run throughout the entire apartment.
